Venus and I have been talking about the 'what if's' in life and after & have been working on our wills/estate etc and ran across this site.
Lifegem.com
They take cremated ashes (pure carbon)and turn them into a diamond. Look at some of their pics. Just beautiful and a rainbow of colors to choose from. I'm just blown away by this. I know some people would object to it, but I see it as the most beautiful thing you could do to remember someone.
Personally I think I'd look great as a .99 sized blue diamond in a brilliante cut, custom platinum ladies seting with a classic deco 1920's feel to it.
They say diamonds are forever
.....hmm...oh... HEY! ....wait a minute...eternity....with MY family...I need to think this one over for a bit...lol.

What happens in ten years when the next major depression comes along and you are pawned off for twenty dollars and a loaf of bread? Just a thought. Do you think that when times get rough that that diamond is really any more valuble than just money, at least when you family is hungry?
