Just wanted to let everyone know i'll be doing live video pen repair like AAron S at pentiques from time to time. I'll poke my head in here & update when I'm broadcasting.

I'[ve wanted to do this sort of thing for years with a liv broadcast but never had the vehicle to do it. Thanks to AAron finding Yahoo live I can now.

Drop in & say hi, watch, chat & ask questions. It'll be a lot of fun.

I'm broadcasting & repairing now.

If the pens i'm waiting on show up Monday afternoon as i'm hoping they will. I'll be doing a live video broadcast on Tuesday. If not, it'llo be the day following their apperance. I'll update as needed.

Does anyone have a time they prefer? I'm on central us time.

I'm expecting

a couple of 2 or 3 Waterman Taperites
Venus President
Wearever Deluxe 100
Olive Ripple Waterman 52V (can't wait to see this one.)
A couple of Esterbrooks
Sheaffer TD (possibly a snorkel. I'll know when it arrives)
and an OS Sheaffer Balance

I'll take requests on which ones to do in what order. I'll be giving general repair tips & how to's. If you haven't got a yahoo ID, take a second & get one so you can use the chat feature in the video. If you have a web cam & mic, you can go live as well & show/ask everyone that way also. The more people we have there, the more fun it will be.

For our international friends. I'll schedule a latenight (2-4 am central time or??) for you so your not left out of the fun.

Hi Dennis,

Central US time is 14.5 hours behind Central time in Australia (my zone), so if you could do some work at about 6am your time that would be good LOL biggrin

Of course, when you go to standard time, we go to summer time, so the difference will be 16.5 hours!  Better set your alarm for 4am LOL

I've never been good at time zone calculation. (or spelling for that matter). If it's 6 AM here what time would it be 'down yonder'.

I have no problem at all with doing an early morning/late night sesion. Hell I hardly sleep as it is & am up at all times of the day.

Anything specific you'd like to see me do.

(And NO I'm not wearing the donkey costume again! I couldn't walk right or walk straight for a week afterward. heh)

Hey Dennis,

What ever happened to your intention of giving some repair video broadcasts? Been watching Aaron Svabik who broadcasts usually three days a week from 0900 to 1300 hrs EDST.

I haven't been doing many repairs of anykind of late. I'm pretty much back up to speed now & will be doing more video repairs soon. It'll most likely be in the afternoons for an hour or so while the kids are in school & it's quiet around here.

Let me know what everyone wants me to cover & I'll see what I can do.

I'm wanting to start doing these again, but it looks like yahoo live isn't up anymore.

Anyone know a good free video service i can connect to for these repair broadcasts?
