Ok gang, contest time again. I've been trying to think of a good contest relating to fall & the upcoming holidays. I couldn't think of anything good so what I decided to do is to borrow the idea from another site.
In short, I want you to write a scary fountain pen related story for Halloween. The length is up to you, but the longer the better. The deadline for submissions is October 15th. Sens all submissions to me at vintagedelights01@gmail.com.
The winner will get a nice little writing kit. Including a nice vintage pen, bottle of ink & paper.
After all submissions are recieved I'll post them here and let the community vote on which they think is the best one.
Good luck & I can't wait to see what everyone comes up with. Dennis

If you like (or anyone else with this sort of cultural obstacle) I'll have my wife proofread/edit (for grammar & structure) and submit it back to you for your approval. She is a lot better at the language arts than I am. I don't see this as a problem because the community will be voting on it & not me.

A Thanksgiving story contest sounds like it could be fun...If we get any submissions.
A story of Thanksgiving with a pen connection, why your thankful for pens, friends, family or community.
Same prize as before, deadline of November 30, post your submissions to this thread.

"Who IS this black dog?" I have no idea. It's just a pic I found a while back of a beautiful dog wearing a set of 'bubba teeth'. Made me laugh so I used it.
