My name is Jeffrey Ludwick and I am new to collecting.
I have made pens for years and recently have confined my efforts to custom fountain pens. Everyone can make a kit pen, but their quality control is questionable. So I have embarked on the road of a totally custom made pen company.
I have developed this desire (read obsession) for fountain pens of the past, as I attempt to glean ideas and styles from their designs. They say that "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".
I hope to learn a structured way to understand the history the value of fountain pens, and to share this knowledge quest with others here.
Jeffrey ps laminated vacumatics have my attention at the moment
Been noticing your frequenting Brian Gray's webcam broadcasts. Sure you picked up a lot of tips from him. I show up as Jack9143 when viewing Brian's pen making. Welcome aboard our small but growing community.
