Most of you are familiar with DR. David I, and his website- http://www.vacumania.com/index.htm

If you are not, this is a great resource for Parker Vac information, pics, etc...

I saw David at the DC show last month. Contrary to what has been rumored, he was not banned from that board, but rather on "Double Secret Probation"! biggrin

Dr. I has started his own blog on his site, and plans to spend a lot more time there! If you have questions, or need advice, this is where to look!

Let him know he is welcome on our board anytime!

i've always enjoyed browsing thru his site. too bad i don't have any "bread" to buy anything right now, but i was considering getting a nice p51 vac. or a snorkle from him... very soon, hopefully!

I've known Dr. Evil for several years. he's always got the BEST stuff, he's as stand up as they come, he's THE authority on all things vac & pretty danged funny to boot. i wouldn't mind seeing him come play in our sandbox for a while.

His blog is interesting but kinda boring because it lacks any interaction. The blog is "fully moderated" and between question and answer there can be days.

Dr.I would be a great addition on the community here. Possibly it would be a positive move for him too since now he's restrained to monologues on the Zoss list (:lol:) and I remember him like an "Action hero"---

Frank, what about sending him a reminder? :)

and I think DWL was chatting with him as well recently.

I emailed him a few weeks ago asking him to call me so we could chat about a few things. He said he would get back to me and never did. I would be honored to have someone of his character, education and caliber moderating/owning the Parker forum. With his personality being what it (awesome) and most of the other boards being a little to .....lets say conservative, and us being a bit more .....relaxed shall we say. I think he'd fit like a glove with the rest of us. If someone wants to give him a nudge, everyone would benefit from having him here.

David is also quite the guru on Sheaffers, particularly the Balance series and has a wonderful collection of them. As others said, it would be great to have him here.

On FPN Pentrace is considered like the wild west...

I think he's the only person banned from Pentrace.  But he was before going over to FPN.  Which I think he thought was a safe harbor as he knows at least one of the admins there in real life.

I am lost, then! I am member of Lion & Pen (though haven't logged in for months), FPN, this forum, and a couple of Spanish written ones, and I know personally none of the admins... Should I worry about it biggrin

If I remember correctly he was posting against the one admin over on Pentrace.

On FPN you just have to have enough of the right people agaisnt you to be banned.
