Coming up on 3000 posts in a fast way!

I cant begin to tell everyone how happy I am to see so many new members coming on board and the rapidly growing post count.  We are coming up on 3000 posts faster than I could have believed possible.

I want to find a prize for lucky poster #3K. If anyone is interested in donating something nice let me know asap. I'll also send off a few emails to folks/retailers I would like to see as sponsors & see if they are interested.

HOLY CRAP!

3000 posts are only 40 away. I don't know what the prize is yet, but I'll find something nice and vintage for the lucky poster. Keep an eye on the count. If your #3000, post it here if I dont catch it first.

It took us six months to go from 2,000 to 2,500 posts/
It only took two months to get to the next 500!

It shows how fast we are growing!

Great job everyone!

I'm so proud of how our community has grown. My pride swells evermore with every new poster, member contribution and milestone. We've planted our flag this far afield, what lies ahead? Your guess is as good as mine, but I'm eager to find out. Lets keep encouraging new friends to come by and having as much fun as we can. Hell, we might even learn something about pens along the way.

Hey, how can I see who made such-and-such post?
How did you know that Brett was the 3,000th poster?
Is this something all members can see, or just the Mods and the Admin???

take the current count and work backward to the 3000th 'recent' post. That and I believe frank was watching/refreshing when it happened.

Numbering the posts is another thing I want the sparklit guys to take care of.

I was looking at the Board forums earlier and the Homepage for the software.
It's always good to learn this stuff even if just a member.
I was trying to see if there was a way to change Settings when a question came up earlier about how to reconfigure the Board to take a member to the last reply in a thread.
More on that later, about to fall out of my chair from exhaustion and the wife due home any moment.
