Much as I enjoy using fountain pens of late the ratio of annoyance to pleasure for this hobby has slipped greatly to the annoyance side.  As well as severing electronic ties I am not attending the two nearby pen groups.

I'm liquidating my collection except for a few sentimental pens.  So check out pentrace for my last offerings.   I've got ink and paper enough for a few years of writing so I don't have to worry about that.

It is sad that it's come to this but some people just won't stop.  I will still continue to write to snail mail people but I am not comfortable anymore posting on the internet.

Man that rightly and truly sucks that balance cant be achieved. I'm sorry to see you go and please know I am going to miss you and your illuminating presence. Your a cool fuckin' dude man, be well and feel free to snail me any time about anything in the multiverse and beyond.

Why don't you just take some "pen vacation": I believe you'll be back sometime in the not-so-distant future.

I cant say what one man will or wont do & dont like to speculate, but I can always hope you'll make your way back to TFPC one day. We'd be a better place for it.

I've been there, had enough of the trash some people like to toss at me and the falsehoods sometimes spread by the sick-minded to make themselves look better.
The Internet can be a great place, can also be a horrible place when the mentally ill take pride and get joy from hurting those that only want a place to relax and share with others.
It's easy for some people to do, since we're not face-to-face and they think it's OK to badmouth, criticize, and just plain attack others.
I've come close to just saying goodbye to the Internet for those and other reasons, forums that is and not the entire Internet.
I've had to leave those forums for my own sanity, let those that revel in their own demented attacks on the innocent and kind stew in their own sickness.
I hope in your case you can find so peace, whether it's to just take a break and come back later or whatever it takes, as that's all that matters.
