I'm thankful for a roof over my head, for good friends, a loving spouse, for shared interests, for certain skills I have, for many things I have including a few nice fountain pens, inks to fill them with and to enjoy, for having eyes that still see [however bad my eyesight is getting], for ears to hear with, both arms, legs, feet and hands, fingers and toes, socks and shoes, so many things...
Yeah, I know some of you don't live in areas that celebrate this Holiday, yet I'd still like to invite you to celebrate along. So what are you thankful for?
It's 00:37 EST where I am, as I type this, going to bed soon and most likely won't be around much later today due to the Holiday. Actually, I may not be around much for the next few days, trying to relax and catch my breath after several days of very stressful and exhausting issues I'd rather not go into here and now. The list of fears and horrors my wife and I are facing right now goes beyond a few lines of text, one of a long list was our power was nearly cut off yesterday if not for the kindness of a friend paying our electric bill, and that's just the grain of sand on the beach of torments we're facing right now.
I just wanted to chime in for a short and make this announcement and a few of my thoughts. So wherever you are and whatever you may be doing this day, no matter what day it is where you live, give thanks for the little things and enjoy yourself this day!
My best to all, that you too have or will have good things to be thankful for, no matter how big or how small.
Scott

I hope you and everyone here had a wonderful holiday.
Scott,
I have lived/am living much like you right now. It's not easy but keep your head on a swivel and look for the break your needing. It'll come. It always does. My wife, tenacity and iron will have carried me through some seriously dark times. From talking to you on the phone. I KNOW you have a lot of those same qualities working for you. Have no fears man,. It'll sort out in the end. Stay strong & call anythine you want to talk.
Dennis
