Anza makes really nice utility knives, work horse knives, from recycled old files.  Here are a couple.

I love it. I have a skinner here that was made from an old leaf spring out of a truck if the story is correct. It's old & ugly, but to my eye it's dripping with character & memories. I'll try & get a pic soon. The weather is for crap now & my indoor lighting just flat out sucks for decent pics.

Nice skinning knives.

Buck has some nice skinning knives, from plain to fancy. Living in Geramny I don't need them, all I have is a couple of Finnish Pukkos, and a go around the world and fight bears, Buck 124, and a Finnish fish fillet knife, and a drawer full of pocked knives.
One of them a Buck, is a skinner.
