After 30 months of being unemployed, and after my UI benefits ran out six months ago, I start a new job tomorrow, doing pretty much what I was doing for Snap-on, but for Magnaflow Exhaust Products.

I am ... elated.

It was the same for me: the smart companies kept their people, and the rest seem to have gone out of business. I lucked into this one through good timing when my predecessor quit unexpectedly.
