It's nice to have a little money to spend for a change. <G>
My Fisher AG-7 ballpoint arrived yesterday; I just received my F-nib matte black "stealth" Pilot Vanishing Point from Richard Binder; I have a TWSBI 540 in smoke and a TWSBI ink bottle on the way from Todd Nussbaum, along with a Noodler's Ahab pen and some "Dark Matter" ink.
I am, indeed, a happy camper right now.
Oh, and I don't have to leave for work for another two hours. <G>

I have, a little: filled the TWSBI bottle with Noodler's Dark Matter, then used it to fill the 540. Awesome pen, and surprisingly smooth for an EF nib.
Still not sure what to fill the Ahab with, though ...
Good to know the EF is smooth. I'm holding out for a Vac 700 and I want to get an EF nib. :) The Ahab is a great pen for the price. It's a ink guzzler though so I tend to use inks I want to finish up in it--for now anyway. haha
(Long overdue updates) I now have three nibs for the 540: EF, M, and 1.5 mm italic, and it's still filled with Noodler's Dark Matter. The Ahab eventually got a fill of J. Herbin Poussière de Lune, is now filled with Noodler's Heart of Darkness, and is *finally* tuned to where it flexes well without railroading at all and writes a moderately wet line with nice variation when not flexing. I also removed the clip to avoid bending it sideways every time I took the cap off.
