Since the holidays, I've picked up a bunch of new pens. The cheapest is the Sheaffer NoNonsene FP with a Fine nib, shown below. It's actually a shade of green, even though I labeled the file as "Teal". The pen writes quite nicely, although the barrel has a major discoloration mark on it. For $9, it is not worth trying to return it.
I always enjoy adding a new NoNonsense - one of my favorite inexpensive pens for the buck. They fit my hands better than the Parker Vector.
Follow-up: This pen has developed two cracks in the barrel running from the edge into the threads on the end. Doers anyone know of a good source for a matching or glossy black FP barrel I can purchase cheaply to replace it? I don't think any gluing or other fix would work. The nib writes very well, and the cap is fine. Just the two barrel cracks to ruin a very nice writer.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Although I couldn't make it fit, I knew I'd have to try. Now I'm telling all of you, I will never buy....
A lot of the No-Nonsense pens I've had have had cracks there, I suspect from the pens being carried in backpacks or pants pockets, and/or being overtightened. I don't know about a different pen's barrel fitting the section, though. :-/
Mike, I should have been more clear and said "another NN barrel." I would prefer to have a working NN to use once again, even though I have another NN FP I may press into action.
