A Little Help Identifying Two Pens
(Preview)
All I've got a couple of pens I could use some help identifying . . . . . . . Pen the first, recent snag from eBay -- it was advertised as an Eversharp, and it did arrive in a beat up Eversharp box -- but it's like no Eversharp I've ever seen, or can find in my small library (I'm not complaining -- it was only a few b...

Wearever and Esterbrook
(Preview)
I was just wondering: both these manufacturers produced lots of affordable pens in the USA, but did they also export the pens to countries outside the America's? For example; the UK had a lot of native brands, but were Esterbrook and Wearever also big players on the Britisch market?

Igersoll Dollar pen
(Preview)
I had this Ingersoll dollar pen that dates from the late twenty's (1929ish) ?for a few months now and here's what i think of it. Appearance I must say I'm not a fan of flat top or cylindrical cap style, this is why I give it a 4/5.? It is a very simple design. It has a reddish brown bakelite body with steel clip...

Herlitz Bugatti 14k

I am not sure if this is pre 80's so I was hesitant to put it on here. The pen writes very well, nice and smooth with no skipping that I have experienced. The only pens that I have written with that write better, in my opinion are the Waterman Carene and the Waterman Charleston. It is a piston fill pen and the a...

PAN ball-point piston fillers...
(Preview)
(click the picture for a much larger/hi-res version.) Here's a review of a nice little fountain pen I bought from DWL - well, actually, it's technically a ball-point piston-filler, but as you can see, I mostly use it now as a FP. My first impressions of the pen seems to be echoed by a few people - the beaut...

Need Some Wahl ID & General Info Advice
(Preview)
I recently picked up a nice dark Navy Blue Symphony with the elusive slipper cap. When I went to restore it the section had all but melted into a wad of goo. This was the first time I've seen an Eversharp secion do that. I found a black Wahl section (era correct) that I shaved down just a hair (where the secti...

A Nice Pair of Onotto's
(Preview)
I picked these one up the other day in a lot of pens from ebay. Awesome writers! The first one is a smooth BHR lever filler with the sunburst on the clip. Other than a tiny issue with the end of the barrel it's in excellent condition. The nib is just incredible. [URL=https://s2.photobucket.com/albums/...
