Sheaffer Desk pen and a Swan.

Last time I counted inked pens I had over 50 with ink in them. Many were fresh repairs that I loaded with a small amount. I'm in the process of "de-inking" most of these by using for notes and such. I have about a dozen on my desk in a "Flower Frog" which I think is a nice cheap pen holder, and a brass ink-well & holder with water in it to dip my "Dunkers" to get them started when they dry out a bit.

My goal is to "de-ink" 2 or 3 before inking another, except for my daily users.

My current Pens to Go are:

Sheaffer Touchdown 1st series - "Fat Boy" with PR Tanzanite (good for Credit Card Receipts)
Hero 616 - with PR DC Supershow Blue
Hero 616 - with MB Racing Green
Waterman CF - with Sheaffer Blue
No Name (Arab markings) Piston Filler - with Baystate Blue

The last pen is a real cheap pen with a hooded nib and ink window. I used it for the BSB since I keep hearing people having problems with the ink and their pens. The only markings on the pen was some Arabic Script in gold. It feels cheaper than the Chinese pens I have. Might be from Pakistan or India.

This week I've been leaning on these to get a big writing project done and done:
  1. Pelikan M805 Fine stub with PR Orange Crush
  2. Visconti Wall Street fine stub with Waterman Blue-Black (carts)
  3. VP XF with Pilot Blue (carts)
Yesterday I cleaned out my XF Al-Star after running it dry of Skrip Red while grading and my medium Lamy 2000 after running out of the same ink while writing Christmas cards.

Five pens inked right now. Two Gatsby pens, one with some kind of royal blue ink and the other with some black, one Fidelio with some darker blue ink, a Grifos with a jet black ink of some kind and a Waterman Gentleman with some old Waterman cartridge black ink.

The PCA Bexley pen with PR Ebony Green. The more I use the pen the more I think that not selling isn't such a bad thing.

I would say that the ebony green is a little darker but doesn't come with the baggage that MB RG comes with.

I suggest it as a replacement.

Thanks! Good to know that it's darker!
I was at KofP last weekend, and the boutique/Crane/Paradise were out.
None of them were going to see RG again!

That's funny I was over in West Chester and was going to stop at the KoP mall but didn't.

Yes I've been a dark green hunter for quite some time and have found a few that I like much more than MB RG:

Noodler's Zhivago
PR Avacado
PR Ebony Green
Stipula Moss Green
