I'mmmm back! As many of you know, His Nibs.com was down for a bit because of some computer woes, followed by a brief vacation (3 days) with Mrs. Nibs. We took a driving vacation to southwestern PA, through the Adirondacks (I love mountain driving) and along Rte. 30 -- the old Lincoln Highway http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~jlin/lincoln/.
We left our itinerary back at the palace, and just stopped somewhere as the mood struck. Some of those strikes took us to the Harley-Davidson factory in York http://www.harley-davidson.com/wcm/content/pages/factory_tours/york.jsp?locale=en_US; the Jimmy Stewart Museum http://www.jimmy.org/ in Indiana, PA; and the Johnstown Flood Museum http://www.jaha.org/FloodMuseum/history.html in...um...Johnstown.
On to pens. Delta pens. First, I was informed by YAFA that they won't be importing more of the gorgeous desk pens http://www.hisnibs.com/desk_pen.htm from Italy due to price increases. Consequently, what they have in stock is it for the U.S. Once their stock is gone, it's gone. As I write this, there are fewer than a dozen of the single fountain pen version, such as the one I'm using in the PBS interview http://www.hisnibs.com on the homepage, about half a dozen of the double sets, and only one left of the single ballpoint version. If you'd like to reserve one, please email me.
The newest Delta series is the Aromatherapy. I expect my first shipment to arrive in about a week or so...just in time for the Washington, D.C. Supershow

The very last of these gorgeous desk pen sets are available now, as YAFA (Delta's U. S. distributor) will no longer be carrying them. This is one of my favorite pens and I use it on a daily basis when writing notes to customers.
As my initial order of these has not yet arrived, I can only show sales copy at the moment on the website. However, I had a chance to examine the pens at the Stationery Show in New York in May....and they're heavenly!
