I just received an epenco and the clip is a little loose.  How do I tighten it back up so 1) it doesn't fall off and 2) break the cap.  This pen is really an extrordinary color.  I would like to keep it in one piece.  Thanks guys.

Is the clip a washer style with a jewel/screw bushing on top to hold it down or is it mounted with tabs that pierce the side of the cap?

E. Pen Co. = Eagle Pencil Company. They are a lower tier pen but I've seen some great stuff from them.

Dennis, it has the tabs that go into the side of the cap, not the one that goes on the top of the cap.

OK, your going to have to pull the inner cap to get at the tabs. If you don't have an inner cap puller your going to have a very hard time of it. (if you need one, let me know, I have an older one I use to use that I can pass along for $25 shipped)

Once the inner cap is out, take a flat blade screwdriver & press the tabs back down so they are tight. I would put a piece of rubber or something down first so the clip doesnt get messed up. Reassemble & thats about it.

Good luck,
Dennis
