        Recieved the Hero 2008 last week.Slim but not slight in briliant
        "Envy" green and gold. The 12K F4 nib lays a smooth wet 8/10
        line right out of it's impressive presentation box, easily worth
        four times the $75.00 price.
        That's the "Newbie News" for today.

I love my Hero 187 as well (Cigar Pen- one of a few that does NOT clone a Parker).
The 12K nibs in this price range are great, and cannot be matched for the money!
Looking forward to more "Newbie News"!

i own a hero 189 with a 12k nib and bit of flex that's quite decent. i only paid a little over $20 for it!!!
