So I'm looking at 222 registered members and but a small handful of regular posters. What can we do to liven things up around here and get folks posting and to simply be a bit more active in our community. (not that I have ANY room to talk on that last aspect...lol)

So what can we do?

I really dig the game Jar is playing with guess the pen, perhaps if we ask really nice we can talk him into hosting a weekly/'however often he dang well feels like' mystery pen contest. Perhaps we could get a sponsor(s?) to donate a prize or 2 to the winner(s). Jar if this is something your up for lemmie know.

I like the Pentrace Sunday Topic gig they are doing over there. I don't want to try and take anything away from any other sites, but I think a weekly (weekend?) theme is awesome. Rather than a single day, where people are trying to rush to get this or that done, they would have a few soild days to finally get those pics taken and not miss out or simply not post because they got them taken a day or 3 late. Heck, unlike PT, this board doesn't scroll off, we could simply keep adding new pics as we add them to our collections or something similar.

Thats pretty much all I have, a couple of borrowed ideas, what 'chall got thats better & original? I'm open to any and all suggestions.
