I have many more pics of the individual pens. If you see something your interested in let me know and I'll be happy to forward them to you.
Sorry for the craptastic quality of the first pic. I forgot to set my light balance.
1) The t-shirt killing 51 from the YB. 4Q 1946 T6 Parker 51 India Black, Vac filler. Smooth and moist (5.75/10 not wet-just moist) medium 14K (4Q1946 dated nib)SS cap, gold clip, the diamond has never seen enamel. There is a very thin line of brassing on the VERY edge of the sides of the feathers. It can only be seen under magnification. Crisp clear& strong barrel imprint. Smooth barrel/blind cap transition. The ONLY issue with this pen is the blind cap has a small crack in it. Dont torque it down and you'll be fine. There is a very faint rub line on the cap from a once semi loose clip. Overall the pen is in very good condition and is one of those 51's you want to put into the hands of a 'non believer'. This pen just kicks booty. Restored a couple of nights ago.
$85 How about $75
2) Full length standard girth 5 3/8" capped, just shy of 9/16" OD at the cap band. Green stripe Sheaffer Balance 500 made around 1936 or so. Looks Grey in the pics. Silver/white trim. The clip is scuffed up but unbrassed, the filler lever is both, the cap band has some light wear but nothing serious. There are a few mild scrapes here & there but nothing drastic at all. Visuilated section is still 60% clear. The feed and nib are both later replacements. I didn't have the correct feed with ink guide so I used an earlier piece, the down side is the nib tail can be seen through the visuilated section. The nib is out of an early Lifetime flat top. It's a buttery smooth & rigid 14K lifetime with a flow of 6/10 and writes like a dream. Great daily user pen. Restored and ready to go.
$55 down to $45
3) English Mentmore. Rose and pink in black. Looks a little darker in the pic than it really is, still a STUNNING pen. 4 15/16" capped, 5 16/16" posted, 9/16" OD at the cap band. Plate loss to the clip and cap band, but still look good. Button filler. good clear imprint. Deep hourglass section. the best part of this already wonderful pen is the replacement 14K 2 tone #5 Feather Touch Sheaffer (generous medium) semi flex nib of awesomeness. Very good condition.
Holding firm at $75 on this one. it's worth it & it wont kill me if it doesn't sell.
4) I know little and nothing about this one but was told they are fairly uncommon. Google & other search engines turned up next to nothing so...
French Meteore. 5" capped, 5 3/4 posted, 1/2" OD at the cap band. Insanely smooth steel 'Vaedium Paris 15' nib. This is one of those. "THIS is a steel nib?!?" nibs. (grin) Beautiful rose/red swirl w/ black veins. lever filler. There are a few minor stray marks here & there but nothing to get worked up over. Missing 2 thin cap bands. Overall good condition & one amazing writer.
$65 how about an even $50
5) Ok here is a genuine beaster but one helluva sweet writer.Navy Blue English Duofold. The moist (6/10) Broad 14K English nib is dated 15 4 and 3 dots. I don't know this date code system so any help would be hot. It's obviously wearing an incorrect clip(also missing the jewel) //\\//\\ cap band is brassed, barrel is engraved H B. Aerometric filler. Sounds a lot worse than it is. It's not so pretty but oh sweet mama Cass this is a great writer.
$45 nah $35 sounds better. Even ugly girls can be great dancers. Give this one a twirl.
6)This is just a really pretty no mane 3rd tier I pulled out of the parts box one day & when was teaching the kids how to restore. The clip is from an Eagle & is missing the gold wash. Looks fine though, the cap band is mainly silver as well. Some mild teeth scrapes on the clip bushing sides. The section, feed and nib are from a Wearever Pennant and is not only wearing one of those oh so cool clear C-flo feeds, but it's also sporting a smooth as silk 8361 Extra fine steel nib. I'm not normally one for nibs this small but I have to admit I did catch myself reaching for it more often than not. Beautiful caramel, tan & mocha swirled celluloid. Great daily user & looks pretty nice to boot.
$35 OK. $25 to get this one out the door. 3rd tier pretty & a helluva writer to boot.
