I'm not going to introduce any new pens in this update...rather I'm going to devote this issue to the introduction of several new lines of acrylic pen stands.

We're proud to introduce a collection of American-made acrylic pen stands that should fit every collector's needs, with sharp, clean designs that look great on their own -- but that are designed to show off the beauty of your pens without overpowering them. They're perfect for home and desktop display, as well a for use at pen shows to show off your wares.
We're initially offering three collections...the prone, single-pen Cradle; the Federation series; and the Black Onyx series.

Two entries on the October 5th blog will be of interest to fountain pen lovers.
One deals with the celebration of Mohandas K. Gandhi's 140th birthday...and the controversy that Montblanc's new commemorative pen is causing.
The other focuses on Dunhill's Fighter Provenance fountain pen...made from the original aluminum engine casing taken from the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine of the legendary World War II Spitfire MK1 fighter plane.
