I'm new here, of course. Relatively new to FPs, too, I guess--I've been using and tinkering with them for maybe two years or so. I don't really see myself specializing very narrowly (or at least I haven't at this point). If it's old, usable, and has a fine and flexible nib I like it. My biggest problem right now is figuring out how to enjoy the great pens I already have and quit getting and filling "new" ones.
Happy to have found this place. BTW, I noticed in cakibler's intro. posting from a couple years back a mention of a "Midlands Pen Club." If anyone has more info. I'd appreciate it.

Lets call the 2 year anniversary seasoned. Not a noon anymore but not in the advanced class quite yet. (wink)

Those sound like the words of a pen addict yet to get hooked really deep.

Man if you figure ouitthe answer to that one...for the love of god share it. I dont know many (any?) users/collectors that don't have a fist full inked up at any one time.

The best thing to do is go to the 'list all users' button at the top of the page, find his name, click on it and send him a message. I've known Carl for several years & he's a GREAT guy with one helluva nice collection. if your in that neck of the woods, I'd advise visiting a meeting.
Read, Post, Enjoy!
Good to have you along for the fun. Dennis
