Most pen turners buy section, nib, cap clutch, etc from the same manufacturer ("Iridium point Germany"), and turn their own body and cap. You can see that most of the pens look almost identical in this parts.
If your target is higher, you might try to contact Bock nib works in Germany. You might start with lost wax for metal parts (clips).
I don't think that you can get, as happened 80 years ago, complete un-badged pens from any manufacturer, just to sell them with your own brand, but I may be wrong here.

If your interested in making your own pens, rather than go the cheap kit route. I would find vintage parts that you like and build around them. Frank just had a killer pen made based around an Esterbrook section. If you have any stray section/feed/nib units you like, start with that and build up. I know a lot of the custom pen manufacturers started of like this & many still continue this way.
Personally I dig the vintage/modern/custom/hybrid pens.
Love to se what you come up with!
Good luck Dennis

Agreed! Dennis is right, you can go that way too. There are lots of "pen sources" for that, Roger. I was somewhat thinking of you trying a larger scale, repeatable business. If you get nibs from Bock (brand new, of course) in Germany, build your own section and feed, and just then start with the rest of the pen, you are going to spend A LOT more money than just building one around old pen parts. You are going to find plenty of old pen with unusable caps or bodies, that can be used to build a new pen around.

Yes, Schmidt group also does complete sections for pen makers in different styles. I do recall a debate though about whether they actually make nibs?
As for my pen, yes, I had an extra Estie section, and Appleman here made a custom pen for me from it! Still waiting for it though! Confirm at USPS.com says on route to US. Been that way for a week now! (blame US Customs)
