Hmmm, after much prognosticating and persistent "yes it is/no it isn't" rumors, I guess it has come to pass that MB Racing Green is at the end of its production road, at least in its current incarnation.  I'm not much for the bird splat on principle, but MB Racing Green always did me right.  My local brick and mortar store sold me their last two bottles today, one for my stash the other for Inka.  Does anyone have a local or internet source for this ink?  I wouldn't mind socking a bottle or two away, and I know Scott would do the same.

You might want to look at some of Private reserves' dark green inks. They are very nice and not likely to go the way of a marketer's decision.

PR Spearmint & Avocado both get the thumbs up from me. GREAT ink imho.

The Ebony Green is close a little darker than the Avacado- maybe a good replacement without the MB baggage.

I'm thinking Diamine Evergreen would be my choice (not an exact replacement, but close enough for me).
