At long last I am delighted to announce the very first offering from The Savage Pen Company.
~~The Savage Display Case~~
Dimensions are 12" x 13 1/2" & assembled is approximately 16" tall.
It holds 16 pens of up to 8" x 3/4", a 7x9" journal and 2 bottles of ink. When assembled, there is a drawer to store more pens, cartridges, stationary or anything like that. (get yourself one of Gary L's pen tray inserts & double your pen storage volume!)
At this moment the storage case is sold by itself. In the coming months I will have a custom journal and custom Savage Pen Co ink that will be included. Sadly, this will increase the price some, but not a lot.
This is the mock up & is made of lesser woods & plexi glass. The finished piece is made of oak and beveled glass. Finishes include, natural blond tones or a deeper amber brown like seen on this version. Both are hand rubbed and have a smooth natural looking satin finish. Please indicate which finish you would prefer when you order.
There are assembly instructions in the journal. Not that they are really needed, this is all pretty straight forward, but it never hurts.
This last pic is one I got before the shelf support was modified. The case sits on the lid when fully assembled.
Price $350 plus shipping. Shipping is at cost and determined by location.
Orders, questions or comments, email me direct at vintagedelights01@gmail.com or call 573 286 0290. 10am-6pm Central US time.

Beautiful case, should look even better in the final oak! Will you be using solid oak or oak veneers in the final pieces? I know an excellent woodworker/carpenter/cabinet-maker, he began making beautiful custom pens when the housing market hit the economic crapper. Not sure he'd have the time or interest to make the cabinets for you, just a thought that he "might" should you need a woodworker, and I can vouch for his work being exceptional.

Thanks for the comments Scot. It's a solid Oak cabinet.
Everything I'm doing making or having made is done within 30 miles of my house. I have a great woodworker, Dave making these for me. I'm really happy with everything he's said & done so far. This one is a bit rough because it was just a mock up.
