Hi all. I have recently purchased a Lamy Safari and a bottle of Noodler's Eel Black. I really like it however I have to wait at least 20 hours before I can do any watercolor with it (not that I do much but I am starting). So my question is: what have you found to be the best ink for watercolors? I have to buy a new bottle of the Eel ink as I broke the one I just bought so I thought I would ask here to see if there was something better.
Also, I wanted to mention that I have a set of Pilot Varsity disposable fountain pens (oh the horror I hear some of you say). I like them very much but the ink could dry for a year and still run as soon as I put watercolor to it.
Edit: I forgot to mention that my Lamy is an Extra Fine Nib if that makes any difference.
Thanks.

Are you talking about doing pen & ink drawings with watercolor washes? If that 's the case then pretty much you need to look to india inks/ shellac based rather than FP inks which are water solubule. There are some Noodler inks that will leave black/ grey behind but will also run under water.
