For sale is a vermeil trimmed Delta Colosseum limited edition fountain pen, number 12 of 70.

The Colosseum was one of Delta's first limited edition pens released in the U.S. It had a beautiful celluloid-like orange body, with a black cap and end piece, sterling silver trim. It sold out quickly. I believe Delta regretted making the edition so small because the color combination was a huge success and Delta has been trying to duplicate it in many ways: making the pens smaller, making a series of cartridge/convertors, etc. The original limited had an old fashioned lever-fill system. The lever lined up perfectly with the clip.

When they released the Colosseum they also made a very small limited edition run (70 pens) with vermeil trim. The gold finish looks much better than the original sterling and really brightens up the pen. The imprint on this pen makes the entire presentation striking.

The pen has been filled, verified to be a good writer, then cleaned and put on display. The pen appears brand new and shows absolutely no signs of wear. The imprint is clean and shows the edition, number and logo.

All of the original packaging is included.

I have reduced the price to $650.
