For sale is an OMAS Selangor fountain pen. This is an extremely rare limited edition. Only 30 pens were made, this is number 15. Stories vary on the history of this pen, but most agree that this pen was never meant to be sold. I believe it was commissioned by a private party for an event. The current OMAS distributors know nothing about this pen - they are unaware of its existents. The pen is vermeil over blue resin. the pen has intricate carvings of mosques with some of the carvings deep enough to expose the blue resin below. I have met one other person in the US who has this pen. As far as I know, there are no others within the United States. It has the standard medium nib that OMAS used before the company was sold. It is the one-tone model of solid gold (it does not have the platinum mask). The pen is mint, never filled or dipped.
