It is that time of year for college students who wish to pursue graduate and/or professional studies, and the cost to apply to a handful of programs can be a real burden for an independent college student. Thus, it is with great regret that I have for sale this beautiful Pelikan 1931 LE Solid Yellow Gold fountain pen for sale. I received this pen as a gift last year, and it is, I was told, unused when I got it.
I have not used it, nor have I inked it: to be quite honest, Ive been afraid to use it since it is single handedly the most beautiful fountain pen I have ever seenperhaps I felt unworthy.
I did, however, fill it up with water last night to make sure that everything is working properly and, not to my surprise, the pen is in marvelous, pristine condition <3 :cloud9: .
The nib is an 18kt gold, BOLD nib. I have another Pelikan (a 100N) with the same B nib, and all I can say is, WOW! You really need to experience a vintage, 18k gold, Bold nib on a Pelikan.
Well, now you can!
Here are some pictures of the pen (I apologize for the poor photography):
The pens value is $1,795, and it is being sold at different places (like nibs.com, etc.) for around $1,440 to $1,390.
My pen does not come with box or papers; therefore, my bargain basement price to you is this:
$919.00 shipped CONUS (FIRM) B) Thats right: My loss, your gain!
Of course, shipping will be USPS CONUS with all the perks (insurance, tracked, signature confirmation, Priority or overnight, etc. etc. :) ). Thus, you can have this pen ASAP. How nice is that? (To international buyers, if you are interested, please message me and we can possible work some shipping arrangement out for a little bit more money but we can work something out.)
To message me, please email me at:
jniforat [DOT] fpnmember [AT] gmail [DOT] com
and then we can contact via email after that. First I Want message gets the pen. I can answer questions, but sale of this pen is first come, first serve since I need the money to apply to programs that are rolling admissions.
Thank you for your interest in this beautiful, vintage, magnificent fountain pen.
Best Regards,
J
