I've pretty much settled into BSB, Bad Belted Kingfisher, Majestic Blue, and PR Arabian Rose on occasion. I'm really interested in R&K Scabiosa though. I'll buy a bottle soon and see if it makes it into long-term rotation. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on DMB.
I looked at the Scabiosa swab out of curiosity and it seems like a darker variety of Poussiere de Lune. I've been considering something darker and I'd like it to be non-staining since cleaning is such a chore. Also I use PDL in my TWSBI demonstrator and I have no problems with it. One of my options is Noodler's La Reine Mauve but I haven't looked up any reviews yet.
I'm testing the DMB but the two pens I chose seem to have flow issues, so I'll have to fix that first before anything else. So far, I do like the color. The shading and hint of violet give the ink character. I find it more interesting to look at than Private Reserve DC Supershow. This latter is also a wonderful color but maybe too "regular" for me.
BSB is something I use for fun. It actually ruined all standard blues for me because it's so brilliant; i.e. everything started to look dull, even Waterman Florida Blue which I had previously thought would be my forever blue.
What pens are you using? I haven't had flow issues at all whether nibs be wet or dry. I hope you find just the right pen for it.
Actually, it was my fault. I started with a new Kaweco Sport broad nib but hadn't cleaned the nib before use so writing felt chalky. After cleaning the nib, I noticed that flow was dry-ish so I spread the tines a bit and that fixed everything.
The other pen I tried, also untested, was a vintage Waterman Stalwart with a semi-flex nib. The combination is excellent, color-wise but I think I need to refit the nib and feed into the section. I suspect that the nib isn't far enough into the section to get me consistent flow.
What I might do for a better test run with this ink is use it in one of my pens which I know has no issues. That'd be the "fair" way of making an evaluation.
Still, despite the issues, the color looks fabulous. I'm becoming quite a Diamine fan. Syrah is a burgundy red and leaves no stains, even in demonstrators. My Kaweco demonstrator is strange in that when you use it as an eyedropper, you can see the ink that seeps into the section. I removed the red from the section by putting soapy water into the barrel and letting it seep out on tissue. I had to do this twice but it's better than flushing until I turn blue. No red stains, but what a color :)

For some reason, I am just not a fan of blue inks. One exception, and it's really more of a blue-black, is Diamine Denim. I love that color. Also, I'm the same way with black. It's just so utilitarian (read boring). Yet, bring that down a notch or three, into the grays, and I love Diamine Grey. I keep it in my TWSBI Diamond 540 clear demonstrator with a fine nib and, for me, if ever a pen and ink were made for each other, this combination is it. It looks dignified when writing a letter and addressing an envelope (especially Basildon Bond Champagne paper and envelopes) without looking sterile.
