1) I cleaned up a black hard rubber eyedropper with brass overlay. I also realigned the nib and feed. The nib is a Warranted 14ct #4 and it looks tiny on the pen which is 5 1/2" capped, 4 1/2" uncapped, 6 1/2" posted. I put ink in the pen to test the flow and to my absolute happy surprise found out that the nib is a super flexible and goes from F-BBB without any pressure. I don't know what the pen is so if any of you know, that would be great. The only thing is that the ink flow is strange. If I cap it a while, the pen needs a shake to start but when I shake it, it'll drop ink on the paper. Then it'll keep writing. Any advice to improve the flow? I notice that nib and feed have to be seated way into the section, otherwise the flow gets messed up and I get railroad tracks. 2) I have a strange looking Waterson gold plated #6 nib. It came with a beat up Sheaffer Craftsman. The Waterson is too big for the Craftsman. And the tip of the nib is smile-shaped. It isn't bent, it wasn't messed up with pliers. It's a perfect small smile. In fact, from the back, the U looks like tipping. Any idea what the nib is? I'll try to take pics tomorrow and post them.
