HisNibs.com update -- Stipula Gladiator November 11th, 2012
Greetings,
Let us all please take a moment to remember and give thanks to all of those men and women who have served and are serving in uniform this Veterans Day.
I'm very pleased to announce the arrival of our first Stipula pen from Italy...the Gladiator.
Also new is the latest from Private Reserve ink...Claret.
After an egregiously long wait, and the eventual fulfillment of all the waiting special orders, I'm happy to announce the return of the Conklin black chased Crescent-fill pen.
Also back in stock, with the exception of the 'B' nib in red, are all of the Pilot 78G colors/nibs.
As this newsletter goes out to a mailing list of thousands of customers (July marked our 15th year of business), please understand if there's a delay in answering your email queries or orders after one of these is sent. We will respond in order received and as soon as possible!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Stipula Gladiator series
I'm excited to offer our first model from Stipula -- an Italian pen manufacturer that I've long admired and personally collected. Known for its fine craftsmanship and very creative designs over the years, the stunning Gladiator continues that tradition at a price much more affordable than Stipula's many limited edition offerings.
Equally exciting to me is that the pen is offered with a fine, medium or 1.1mm stub nib! The pens have just started to arrive stateside in quantity this past week, so I am taking orders now for those that will ship to me after Veterans Day.
When ordering, please specify the pen color as well as the nib size you'd prefer, and I will submit the order on Tuesday or Wednesday of this week (they'll reach me within a week).
The Stipula Gladiator. Now you don't have to choose whether the sword or the pen is mightier. You've got both together!
Introducing Private Reserve's latest color...Claret. I find this to be a very rich cross between Burgundy Mist and Chocolat. It's my latest favorite. At the moment, I have it in the smaller bottles only, on sale for $7.95.
All other Private Reserve colors, in both bottles and cartridges, are now back in stock.
They're baaaaaack!
"Mailed you a written note today. The pen is great -- the more I write with it the better I like it. I thought it would be too big for me -- but couldn't resist the crescent filler, chasing, rose gold, etc. so bought it anyway. But it is very comfortable and lightweight...and seems to have a bit of flex to it." H. S., Swarthmore, PA
"Got the Conklin Black Chased! Wow! What a beautiful look it has for a black pen! Even better than the old as far as I'm concerned. And, thanks so much for recommending the medium nib which writes like a fine. It is a perfect fine nib for me. And I'm sure you must have "tweaked" it for it writes a nice, smooth, wet line. Filled it with Noodler's Bulletproof Black.....fantastic! I can see why this one is so popular. Pictures don't really show the depth of the chasing: like encased in acrylic! I appreciate your personal service and communication! I'm really enjoying the pen!" M. B., Springfield, LA
